Die Realität zeigt ihre Facetten oft erst auf den zweiten Blick. Der Zustand der Berzerk war doch nicht so optimal, wie wir anfangs dachten. Zur Problemrecherche setzen wir uns vor den Rechner und merkten sehr schnell, dass viele Wege direkt zu einem Experten führen >> MOTORITZ.

MORITZ KULLMANN ist Schöpfer. Er hat den „YAMAHA-XT Himmel“ geschaffen. Und das nicht in 7 Tagen, sondern über viele Jahre. Bei ihm findet man jedes erdenkliche Ersatzteil und vor allem ist er der optimale Ansprechpartner für Motorenoptimierung und Tuning. Moritz hat viele unorthodoxe Wege gefunden, einem XT Motor auf die Sprünge zu helfen, Schwachstellen zu optimieren und etwas mehr Leistung aus den Kisten zu holen. Und so revidierte Moritz unseren Motor und nahm sich Zeit, uns Blicke in sein Nähkästchen zu gewähren.

Die Berzerk bekommt ihre Maske. Diesmal nicht aus Karton!
Nachdem wir endlich das passende Tagfahrlicht, dass den 272833 EU Normen entspricht gefunden haben, können wir mit der Umsetzung beginnen. Dieter von Kickstarter hat die passenden Hauptscheinwerfer aufgetrieben, die nächste Woche dann eingearbeitet werden. Die Idee ist Folgende: Das Tagfahrlicht wird statisch im unteren Teil der Maske eingebaut, während der obere Teil der Maske mit einem Scharnier aufgeklappt werden kann, welches die beiden Hauptscheinwerfer verdeckt. Dadurch wird ein Mechanismus ausgelöst, welcher das Tagfahrlicht deaktiviert.
Tobi juckt es schon in den Fingern dieses Problem zu lösen.
Die Maske bleibt ein Prototyp, den Tobi dann wenn alles passt nochmal umsetzen will. Er ist und bleibt eben ein Mann mit Anspruch an seine Arbeit!
