Damper insert for our megaphone silencer.

This high-quality steel insert replaces the short original insert of the
Megaphone silencer. This makes the megaphone exhaust significantly quieter.
Includes three M10 screws that can be removed to modify the sound and volume.

Attention: For a perfect fit, it may be necessary to remove the insert at the front/
to the narrower end (file down the edges slightly if necessary).

Suitable for our megaphone exhausts with the article numbers:
AP-MEF
AP-MBF
AP-MCF

Here is a rating according to volume of the replacement inserts we offer for the Megaphone exhaust series ( AP-MEF/MBF/MCF ):
1) AP – PDF is the quietest of the inserts as it transforms the exhaust from an absorption silencer into a reflection silencer.
The volume and the backflow produced can also be further influenced by bending the pipe open or closed.

2) AP – MDF   is a little louder than AP – PDF , it has proven to be well suited for large-volume two-cylinder engines in practice:
e.g. for the R models of BMW, Triumph Bonneville or Tiger, Moto Guzzi LeMans, Yamaha XS650 etc.

3) AP – PDN offers the least noise attenuation in the range and therefore offers the loudest sound. By slightly modifying the insert
to less passage, the damping can be increased and is still quieter than the original dampers of the Megaphone series.
