SILENCER INSERT for megaphone exhaust

Damper insert for our megaphone silencer.

This high-quality insert made of steel replaces the short original insert of the
Megaphone silencer. This makes the megaphone exhaust significantly quieter.
Includes three M10 screws that can be removed to modify the sound and volume.

Attention: For the accuracy of fit it may be necessary to use the insert on the front /
adapt to the narrower end (if necessary file off the edges).

Suitable for our megaphone exhausts with the article numbers:
AP-MEF
AP-MBF
AP-MCF

Here is a rating according to the volume of the replacement inserts we offer for the megaphone exhaust series ( AP-MEF / MBF / MCF ):
1) AP - PDF is the quietest of the inserts, as it transforms the exhaust from an absorption to a reflection silencer.
The volume and the backwater produced can also be further influenced by opening or closing the pipe.

2) AP - MDF   is a little louder than AP - PDF , it has proven to be well suited in practice for large-volume two-cylinders:
e.g. for the R models from BMW, Triumph Bonneville or Tiger, Moto Guzzi LeMans, Yamaha XS650 etc.

3) AP - PDN offers the least amount of noise attenuation in the range and therefore offers the loudest sound. By slightly modifying the insert
for less passage, the attenuation can definitely be increased and is therefore still quieter than the original attenuators of the Megaphone series.
